Throughout the year, influencers highlighted yallo’s seamless services by focusing on what yallo can’t do – and then showing off everything yallo can do. Not only that, the campaign also included content creation by Swiss influencers, which was then used on yallo's own channels, as well as an offline activation. Using multiple channels and methods helped yallo reach its goals, in a creative, authentic way.

Challenge

yallo is an affordable online provider for mobile, internet and TV. The marketing for telecommunication services, especially for younger people, is quite competitive, so yallo needed a strategy to target Gen Z and millennials, where the brand stands out to its audiences.

Campaign

For the ‘yallo can’ campaign, influencers received creative freedom to show everything yallo can do. Giving creative freedom to content creators for both their own channels and yallo’s channels allows the content to come across authentic, helping to further spread the message. To boost awareness of yallo, yallo planned an annual campaign in 2024 with 3 brand ambassadors. The annual campaign consisted of 7 key moment activations and 6 always-on campaigns. The year campaign kicked off with a workshop hosted by Kingfluencers. For specific campaigns, additional influencers were also activated. Working with influencers on an annual basis allows for consistency and authenticity, as well as for potential customers to be reminded of the offers and brand. Content creation

In order to strengthen their influencer campaign, yallo worked with several content creators to make content for their own channels. This content was then pushed in paid ads. This has several benefits:

Offline activation

In order to further strengthen the campaign, an offline activation was planned in October 2024 in Zurich. During one day, Taulant hit the streets of Zurich as the yallo handyman – someone who can do anything and ready to help anyone in need. From handing out free coffee and Gipfeli during the busy morning rush (with a chance to win fun prizes like headphones through free yallo raffle tickets) to treating passersby to cupcakes in the afternoon on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. The highlight? One lucky participant had the chance to win a brand-new phone. The team's route was teased in Taulant’s stories, culminating at the yallo store in Shoppi Tivoli, where people had to crack a puzzle to unlock the safe and claim the grand prize. The activation included content creation, influencer postings and had as a goal to create a boom and reach a wider audience. Kingfluencers came up with the creative concepts and locations, in accordance with yallo’s campaign goals.
